Melba Thomas
Virginia Melba Thomas, age 87, was the widow of Frank Thomas and the daughter of the late James Garvin and Nora Elizabeth Hampton. Mrs. Thomas is survived by her son and his wife; her grandsons, two sisters, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings; Don, Gordon, and Wayne Hampton; Naomi Williams, and Hazel Wilks.
Mrs. Thomas was a retired cosmetologist and she also worked hard for many years farming alongside Mr. Thomas. She was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church.
