NEWPORT NEWS - Ada Barbara Barton, 93, died Monday, April 8, in St. Francis Nursing Center, Newport News.
Mrs. Barton, a Peninsula residnet since 1990, was a native of Coeymans Hollow, N.Y., and a former resident of Bayonne, N.J.
She is survived by two sons, Judson W. Barton of Newport News and Sumner R. Barton of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be conducted in St. Francis Nursing Center Chapel. Burial will be at a later date in Onesquethaw Union Cemetery, Clarksville, N.Y.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to St. Francis Nursing Center, 2 Ridgewood Parkway, Newport News 23602.
