1. MARRIAGE RECORD: Jeremiah Williams & Lovina Carpenter were married 28 February 1821 in Franklin County, Ohio by her father, Reuben Carpenter, J. P.

2. FAMILY RECORDS: Funeral Book of John Wiley Williams shows paternal grandparents-Jeremiah Bein Williams & Vina Carpenter. The Williams Family Bible of John Wiley states: "Your Grandpa Williams name was Jeremiah Bein". (handwritten)

3. CENSUS: 1830 Knox Co., OH; 1837 San Augustine Co., TX (found in the Land Commissioner's book); 1840 Nacogdoches Co, TX; 1847 (living out of town), 1850 Nacogdoches Co.; 1860 Kaufman Co., TX.

4. LAND GRANT #1547: Republic Of TX, San Augustine Co.; Second Class Conditional Head-Right; 640 acres of land given 26 SEP 1839.
