William Woods Temple was the son of William Temple and Ann Miriam Defrieze. He was a successful solicitor. On 25 Feb, 1851 he married Jane Kirton of Southampton, the eldest daughter of Pearey Kirton and Mary Ann Cooper. They had five children, four daughters and one son. William died on February 2, 1892 and was buried February 6th.
