Mr. Galloway was born in Jasper County, son of Dr. William and Minnie (Mock). He was a member of Headyville Christian Church. he married Mary "Elsie" Kepley September 5, 1909.
Surviving are his wife; sons, Lindsey, Of Newton; Wiley H of Altamont; Walter of Louisville, Charles of Noble; Dale of Dieterich; Jesse Curtis of Arlington Heights; daughter Louise Hansen of Melrose Park; Norma Puckett of Silver Lake, Wisconsin, sisters, Mary Birch of Decatur; Susie Bickers of Newton, 32 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
Two daughters preceded him in death.
