She first married Enoch Buchanan 22 Nov 1822 in Washington County, IN. Enoch was born in Ohio in 1799 and died young, age 28, on 1 Jun 1827 in Washington County, IN. Florella and Margaret Jane Buchanan were born Jan. 1826 and Jan. 1828, respectively. Evidence indicates that a first child was born before Florella but died before 1827. At Enoch's death a guardianship was established for the 2 minor children. Burial information of Enoch Buchanan is unknown and no Find a Grave Memorial for him has been created.
