He was the husband of Theresa (Matzner) Silverman, and a son of the late Pincus and Mary Silverman. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Henry M. Silverman of New York City; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Goldblatt of East Paterson, N. J., Mrs. Natalie Cohen of Bethesda, Md., and Mrs. Ruth Rosenbloom of Clifton, N. J.; and one brother, Hyman Silverman of Clifton.
