Margaret had lived on Pepin Street. She passed away at the Miriam Hospital, Providence, RI.

She was the wife of the late Earl A. Kittell. She was born in Providence. She was the daughter of the late Edward L. and Emily L. (Creamer) Murphy.

She has been office manager for the Giovanni Jewelry Co for twenty six years until her retirement and was a communicant of Christ the King Church, West Warwick, RI. She had been a resident of West Warwick for the past fifty years.

Margaret is survived by a sister, Patricia Cole of Hopkinton, RI two brothers Thomas D. Murphy of East Providence, Richard D. Murphy of Bradenton, FL, sister in law of Maureen T. Murphy and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Emily Cornell, Edward, Robert and Raymond Murphy.


Peggy is remembered by her friends and family as a wonderful woman to sit and talk with or share memories. She was a friendly neighbor....always so sweet and kind. She brought much light and love into this world.
