Joe Smith Alstrom, infant son of Robert and Deborah Alstrom of Alakanuk, died Dec. 23 in Alakanuk.
A funeral service will be held later this week at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Alakanuk.
Joe was born Sept. 3 in Anchorage.
He is also survived by his brothers Dale and Shaun, and his sister, Roberta; his paternal grandparents, Frank and Nellie; his maternal grandparents, Clyde and Mary Smith; and his maternal greatgrandparents, Joe and Martina Phillip, and Angela Smith, all of Alakanuk.
Local arrangements were by Witzleben Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Sixth Avenue Chapel.
