Mrs. Lillie Ann Woods Buelin, age 81, entered her heavenly home on Thursday night, September 3, 2020, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. She was born in Carroll County, Virginia, on September 21, 1938, to the late William Woods and Elsie Woods Flinchum. Ann loved her family and her Lord. She was an excellent cook and often made cakes or pies for family members on their birthdays. She was a faithful Christian wife to her late husband, Woodrow, and brought much joy and laughter to their home. She will always be remembered for her love and laughter. Mrs. Buelin was retired from Kentucky Derby Hosiery and was a member of Blackwater Community Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Alvin Flippin, second husband, Woodrow Buelin; two infant siblings, and two brothers, Donald Woods and Charles Woods. Left to cherish her memories are her step-daughters, Carol (Joe) Wagner, Diane Buelin; stepsons, Wayne (Dot) Bullin, Kenneth (Anita) Bullin, Rex Buelin, Terry (Ellen) Bullin, Dennis (Carolyn) Bullin; grandchildren, Teresa (John) Martin, Jonah Buelin, Travis (Hope) Bullin, Angela (Brandon) Palmer, Paul Buelin, Jenny Buelin, Sarah B. Edwards, Hannah (TJ) Jones, Joseph Bullin, Rachel Bullin, Deborah Bullin, Jeremy (Kristin) Bullin, Dixie Bullin, Sheila (Jerry) White; twenty great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Willie Mae Hutchens, Betty Ward, Mary Lou Beasley; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert Woods, Pete Woods, Billy Gray (Peggy) Pack, Diane Woods, Debbie Woods; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2020, at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home with Bro. Timmy Crotts, Bro. Frank Danley and Bro. Ray Hutson officiating. Burial will be in the Blackwater Community Church Cemetery at 4:30 pm. Due to the current situation, anyone can pay their respects on Sunday from 8:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017 or Mtn. Valley Hospice, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
