Louis (Jim) Bellone, 74, one time part-owner of the Ocean View hotel in Davenport, died Friday in his Salinas home.
Funeral services will be from the Muller mortuary in Salinas, at 9:30 a.m. thence to the Sacred Heart church where a solemn requiem high mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul commencing at 10 o'clock, Entombment will be in the IOOF mausoleum, Santa Cruz. Rosary will be recited in the mortuary chapel tomorrow night at 8 o'clock.
Bellone had been in the artichoke business for the past 20 years. He was a native of Omelia Genoa, Italy. He was a member of Salinas Lodge No. 614, BPOE; vice president, California Artichoke and Vegetable Growers corporation of Castroville.
He is survived by his wife, Anna, of Salinas; two brothers and two sisters, John and Enrico Bellone, both of Castroville, Mrs. Frank Garaventa, of Sacramento, and Mrs. B. Michelis, of San Francisco; two nieces, Mrs. Gloria Bozarth, of Salinas, Mrs. Rick Della Mora, of Castroville; three nephews, Raymond Michelis, of San Francisco, Henry Bellone, of Castroville, and Luigi Bellone, of Italy; an aunt, Mrs. F. Bellone, of Castroville.
