Mary Lou Hunter, 78, of Paoli passed away on Saturday August 15, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her beloved family. She was born on September 5, 1941 in Louisville, KY to Estill Lamar and Anita Lavern (Penick) Chism.

Mary Lou married Jackie Hunter on May 16, 1980. She retired as a Dispatcher from the Clarksville Police Department. Mary Lou loved to play BINGO!

She is preceded in death by her parents; Estill and Anita, her siblings; Shirley Black, Jeannie Dickens, Beulah “Booty” Redden, and her nephew, Timothy Faulkenburg.

She is survived by her husband Jackie Hunter, her children; Billy (Cindy) Hunter Jimmy (Sheila) Duggan, Tina (Charles) Rake, Robin (Kurt) McCormick, Johnny Duggan, Paul (Rebecca) Hunter, Katie (Mike) Cundiff, Joe Duggan, Jamie (Kathy) Hunter, her grandchildren; Natalie Duggan, Justin Rake, Natasha Hunt, Ryan Hunter, Jenny Hunter, Ashley Byerly, Stephen Jackson, Trisha Beninato, Kurt McCormick Jr., Heather Hartwick, Paul Hunter Jr. , Michael Cundiff, Jacob Cundiff, Nicholas Cundiff, Mackenzie Duggan, Keria Duggan, Mary Nielsen, James Nielsen, and 25 great- grandchildren, her sisters; Dottie House, Patricia Saltsman, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 5:00 P.M at Denbo Funeral Home with Rev. Kim Allen to officiate. A private burial will follow in Cap Anderson Cemetery in Brandenburg, KY. Friends may visit on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 from 2:00 P.M until 5:00 P.M at Denbo Funeral Home in English, IN.
