She married Pete Allen August 24, 1936 in Salt Lake City. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS temple. He preceded her in death March 14, 1979. Together they had two children, James Morris and Amy Elaine.
She married Austin "Dale" Farnsworth June 5, 1991. He preceded her in death November 28, 1995.
Bessy worked for the Richfield Indian Dormitory for over 20 years. She has two brothers, James and Morris. Proceded in death by her daughter, Amy and grandson, Tony Allen.
