Cremation for Tommy Albert Stanford, 48, of Lubbock was under direction of Rest Lawn, Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth. Memorial services will be at a later date.
He died Sept. 21, 1998, in University Medical Center.
He was born April 2, 1950, in Amherst. He served in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1969. He married Leigh Ann McMahan in 1970, in Lubbock. He attended Lubbock High School. He was a member of the Elks Lodge.
He was a locksmith, truck driver and a machinist.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Elsie Anna Davis of Wolfforth; two sons, Tommy Jr. and Bobby, both of Lubbock; and five grandchildren.
