Patsy Evelyn Abel, 69, of Jones, Oklahoma entered Heaven's gates on September 7, 2020. Born in San Augustine, Texas on September 24, 1950 to William Jennings Bryan and Dovie Stringer Bryan, Patsy spent her life dedicated to her family and the Lord. She married Jerry Clayton Abel of Jones, Oklahoma on April 16, 1973. Together, they raised three boys – Jerry Abel, Jr; Glen Abel, and Robert Abel. Patsy enjoyed gardening, family, fishing, and time spent with friends.
Patsy was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Jones, and recently held membership with Choctaw Road Baptist Church. She loved working with the children's ministries and spent many years attending summer camps with the kids at Falls Creek. Patsy enjoyed her family most of all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry. She is survived by her son, Robert Abel and wife, Carly and children Clay, Cooper, and Katie of Texas; as well as step-sons Jerry Abel of Oklahoma and Glen Abel of Texas. Graveside services were held September 10th, 2020.
