GLESSNER, Dorothy A., 96, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on September 6, 2020, in Somerset. Born on May 17, 1924 in Johnstown, daughter of Francis N. and Stella C. (Haire) Killen. Preceded in death by parents, and husband, William J. Glessner. She is survived by her loving children, Randy L., (Lonny), Dade City, FL, William J. Jr., (Patricia), Somerset, PA, and Francis G., (Linda), Johnstown; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; Anna Grace Hutchko, Buford, GA; brother, Richard Neil Killen, Armagh, PA and several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was a 1942 graduate of New Florence High School. She was a US Navy Veteran having served during WW II. At Dorothy's request, there will be no public viewing. Private committal was held at Grandview Cemetery with the Rev. Adam Dotts, officiating and military rites conducted by Menoher Post #155 V.F.W. The family is being served by the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh. Contributions be directed to the First United Methodist Church, 436 Vine Street, Johnstown, PA 15901 in memory of Dorothy.
