Alice had lived most of her life in Barrington, RI and East Providence, RI and for many years enjoyed a second home in the Berkshires in Rowe, MA.
She was a graduate of the Barrington School System and Bradford Jr. College in Haverhill, MA.
She is survived by a son Herbert M. Adams, III of Rehoboth, MA, a daughter Martha (Adams) Hawkins of Darien, CT, four grandchildren, Gregory, Matthew, Margaret and Abigail and two great grandchildren Samantha and Jamie Tingley.
Cremation was at White Dove Crematory, West Watwick, RI.
