James was killed in the Battle of Gettysburg & originally buried there. Later, his remains along with those of Edward Averitt Rhodes and Thomas Watson Cooper were all brought to Green Mountain Cemetery by John Weaver and interred there.

John Weaver owns the plot with the large crypt. He also apparently brought other Confederate casualties to Green Mount Cemetery.

"There is also another casualty's marker near it at:
https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/231810596/thomas-watson-cooper which shows the cemetery info. Open that page, and click on 'show map' to the right of the burial information to see exactly where the marker is.
"There are many Union and Confederate casualties' and officer's burials there, but they are scattered.
"In the past year I have come across three brand new Confederate casualties' markers there, all apparently from Gettysburg. Someone is working on those, but I don't know who.
"Green Mount is a very old and very prestigious cemetery that is beautifully kept."
