Sexton record reports age at time of death as 15 months, while the newspaper reports 17 months, so evidently born in late 1887. Son of Louis K. & Lula (SNEED) PRYOR. Newspaper reports refer to him as the son of Mr. L. K. PRYOR; this is because the mother died on 23 DEC 1888. The parents had married in 1884.

Original burial entry in the sexton's ledger book shows Charles S. PRYOR was born in Georgia; died aged 15 months of lung trouble; buried 10 APR 1889 in the Old Cemetery section. Resident of Columbus (so probably died there). The sexton was Abraham ODOM.

This grave is probably not identifiably marked. It is supposed that this child's father and a number of other relatives, surnames PRYOR and SNEED, have unmarked graves in Lot 2 of Dolores Autry's Section H (see her Historic Linwood Cemetery book, Volume 3, p. 6). Only engraved monument in this lot appears to be for Rosa SNEAD (1861--1864), Memorial #33904257.
