Robert and Ica Woods Fowler moved to Gleason in 1934 and took over William Robert Fowler's grocery store which they ran until 1943. Then they opened a pool hall until 1952. Robert was also a deputy. They moved to Lansing Mi in 1952. Icie worked at MSU. They moved to Holt Mi in 1967.
