Avis (Strauser) Adams, 85, of Evansville, died at the CORE Nursing & Rehabilitation.
She had been a beautician and was a member of Shaker Prairie Christian Church in Carlisle.
Surviving are daughters, Shirley Lynch and Marilynn Robinson; sons, William Jr. and Stanley; stepson, William; sister, Charlotte Brinegar; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services 11 a.m. Saturday at Banks and Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery there. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Indiana Organ Procurement Organization.
