Frank Garrison, 49, 301 Worth Street, died Wednesday at an Omaha Hospital from a heart attack. He was taken ill at work about one hour earlier. He was the son of the late Cora and James Garrison.
Mr. Garrison, a plasterer, was employed by the Painter Lumber company and was a member of Council Bluffs Moose lodge No. 262.
Surviving are his widow, Leona; three daughters, Kathryn, Betty and Eleanor; six sons, Wilbert, Harold, Raymond, Ronald and Jackie of Council Bluffs and Roy of Brooklyn, New York; four brothers, Earl and Dan of Council Bluffs, Ora and James of Avoca; three sisters; Mrs. Dolly Butterbaugh of Shelby, Iowa, Mrs. Grace Schueman and Mrs. Barbara Rogers of Avoca, Iowa.
Funeral services for Mr. Garrison will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Woodring's Chapel, the Rev. C.P. Huges of Trinity Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn cemetery. Members of Moose lodge No. 262 will serve as pallbearers.
