She was born in Livingston, Overton Co., TN on Saturday, December 16, 1944 to the late Hardy and Ethel Lee (Hammock) Cantrell. Edith loved her children and grandchildren very much. She will be greatly missed by them all.
Edith is survived by 2 Sons: Rick Loftis, Brian Loftis; 1 Grandson: Andrew Loftis; 7 Granddaughters; Riley Loftis, Julia Briggs, Brianna Loftis, Kenzi Loftis, Angela Loftis, Gwen Phillips, Ava Phillips; a host of Nieces and Nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 5 Sisters: Auda Ledbetter, Artie Smith, Irene Cooper, Juanita Kissick, Alice Flowers; 5 Brothers: Ray Cantrell, Clyde “Monk” Cantrell, Willis “Shorty” Cantrell, O.C. “Dude” Cantrell, James Howard Cantrell.
Funeral services were held were held on Saturday, September 19, 2020 from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with Bro. Nolan Cantrell officiating the service. The family had chosen cremation after the service.
