Services for Stella Hollenback Burch, a former Anchorage resident, were held in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Mrs. Burch, 80, died Thursday, April 7, in Idaho Falls.

Born July 15, 1907, in Kennebec, S.D., she attended business school in Sioux Falls, S.D. She had lived in Ketchikan and Anchorage. She worked as an elementary school secretary while in Ketchikan. While living in Anchorage, she was secretary of the First Presbyterian Church, and was an elder and deaconess in the church in Anchorage and Ketchikan. She was an active member of the Republican Party in Anchorage.

She leaves her son, Joseph, of Anchorage; her daughter, Sandra Englis, of Idaho Falls; her brother, Floyd Hollenback, of Hot Springs, S.D.; her sisters, Florence Koenig, of Winner, S.D., and Blanche Curtice, of Sioux Falls, S.D.; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In 1975, she was preceded in death by her husband, Guy, whom she married in 1933. Burial will be in Anchorage this spring.
