ARTHUR B. 'SHORTY' SMITH, 70, of Millington, press operator for Portex Ind., died of heart failure Thursday at Methodist Hospital North. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel with burial in West Union Cemetery in Millington. Mr. Smith, the husband of Juanita J. Smith, also leaves three daughters, Trudy Smith, Debbie Vick and Pam Kemery, and two sons, Steven B. Smith and Tony Smith, all of Millington; two sisters, Gail Lewis of Drummonds, Tenn., and Montie Littleton of Marion, Ark., and eight grandchildren. (Published in The Commercial Appeal 7/22/1995)
