Barbara Sagehorn, 93, of Monett, went to be with her heavenly Father on Sunday September 13, 2020 at home surrounded by family. Born in Monett on August 14, 1927, Barbara was the daughter of Armond and Sibyl (Browning) Carlin. Barbara graduated from Monett High School and worked as an accountant before retiring. During her lifetime she loved flower gardening, traveling and going west “garage saling”. She was a member of New Site Baptist Church.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband Sam Sagehorn and one daughter Sani Wormington; brothers Kirk and Curtis Carlin; sister Avonell Avondet. She is survived by her brother, Hassell Carlin and wife Sandy; sister Meg McCaffrey; step-daughter, step grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
The body has been cremated under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home of Monett. A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at 11:00a.m. on Thursday September 17, 2020 at New Site Cemetery in Monett, Memorial can be made to New Site Baptist Church.
