Obituary - IVEY W. HARRIS - FAIRFIELD - Ivey W. Harris, 81, of 25 Bunker Ave., died Sunday at a Waterville hospital following a short illness. He was born in Prince Edward Island, Canada, Sept. 27, 1900, son of William and Etta Turner Harris. His first wife, Alice Stafford Harris, died in 1971.

He retired from Keyes Fiber Co. following many years of employment there. He was a member of the Fairfield First Baptist Church, the Fairfield Lodge 100F and the Goodwill Rebekah Lodge. He was a member of Victor Grange, Fairfield Center, Somerset Pomona and Maine State Granges.

Survivors include his wife, the former Christine Case Adams Harris, of Fairfield; two daughter, Mrs. Linwood Freda Greenleaf and Mrs. David Elizabeth Ross of Orlando, Fla.; four brothers Melvin Harris of Prince Edward Island, George, Albert and Turner Harris of North Attleboro, Mass.; two sisters, Mrs. Daisy Moore of Attleboro, Mass., and Mrs. Ellie Boyle of Ocala, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Harold Shirley Lessard of Winslow and Mrs. Robert Marjorie Cosgrove of Watervile; two grandchildren and one great grandson.
