QUITMAN - James William McPhail, 75, of Stonewall, died Wednesday at the Archusa Convalescent Center.
Funeral services were held Thursday from the chapel of Wright's Funeral Home in Quitman. Burial was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
He is survived by two sons, Ralph B. McPhail of Jackson and Bob McPhail of Raceland, La.; three daughters, Genece Gordon of Paradis, La., Charlotte Dillard, of Stonewall, La., and Lou Hamburg of Enterprise; two brothers, Arthur McPhail of Mobile, Ala., and Vernon McPhail of Long Beach; four sisters, Leila Anderson, Edna Polk and Emma Broome, all of Bassfield and Ella Harger of Meridian; 20 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
