Hosea was married to Emily (Martin) Aldrich on October 26, 1848. After her death he married Julia A. Swan on April 29, 1882. Hosea was the son of Levin Aldrich and Mary (Bolles) Aldrich. He was 65 yrs 11 months and 20 days old at death according to Jaffrey town records. Hosea was from the town of Richmond New Hamhshire and served as the Town Treasurer in 1867. He also was a Representative in the New Hampshire Legislature from 1861-1863.
