William V. “Bill” Aaron, 78, of the Glensfork community died Saturday, September 19, 2020 at his residence. Born in Glensfork, KY he was the son of the late Fred and Ruby Harvey Aaron.
Bill was a faithful member of the Glensfork Nazarene Church where he served as Sunday school teacher for over 50years. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife Jeanette Antle Aaron of Glensfork; three children Tony Aaron (Trish), Angie Hixson (Barry) and Amy Cox (Jeremy) all of Columbia; six grandchildren Clint Aaron, Will Hixson (Emma), Chloe Hixson, Briley Cox, Maggie Cox and Josie Cox; a great-grandson Roman Hixson and several other friends and relatives.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers O’Neal, Olen, Richard and David Aaron.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Grant Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00-8:00pm and will continue on Tuesday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
Bro. Billy Neal Davis and Bro. Joe Gosser will be officiating and pallbearers will be Barrett Blakey, Logan Antle, Blake Maupin, Luke Maupin, Jake Hixson and Will Hixson.
