He lovingly leaves behind his mother, Debra Abernathy Youngers; father, John Abernathy; brother, Wes Abernathy; step-dad, Tom Youngers; step-mom, Jill Abernathy; step-sisters, Katie and Sara Youngers; grandmothers, Marie Abernathy, Margie Youngers and Pat Conrad; grandfather, Jerry Conrad; great-grandmother, Lula Gallagher; Sherrie and Ray Dunaway, Larry and Cheryl Abernathy, Sandy and John Johnson, his aunts and uncles, many loved cousins and friends.
Josh will be remembered for his sincerity, joyous love of life, high class manners, conscious work ethic, and his loving relationship with his family. He was so proud to be a union carpenter and looked forward to creating many quality monuments with his career choice. He loved snowboarding, fishing, camping, off-road riding, boating, cards, pool, an exciting festive atmosphere and most of all, San Diego Charger Football. His quick wit and beautiful smile will be forever missed. He was a true friend and ally to a point of fault. He had a certain naive and innocent approach to life rarely seen in children let alone in young adults. Josh never asked for anything, but would give the shirt off his back and his last dollar to his fellow man whether he knew him or not.
Viewing will be from 5-9p.m., Sat., May 20, 2006, and a funeral service at 3:00p.m., Sun., May 21, 2006, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel, 1101 NE 112th Ave. Vancouver, WA.
A Celebration of Life will follow at Josh's House, 3611 SE 190th Ave, Vancouver, WA.
The hole left by his passing will never be filled. Joshua, with love and joy, we will miss you always. Columbian, Saturday, May 20, 2006
