ber 13th 2007, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Sheila was an inspirational and exemplary wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a devoted and unwavering Catholic, and it showed in her faith and how she devoted her life to helping others. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on July 19th, 1949, her parents were Howard and Dorothy Ross, who have preceded her in death. Sheila's family moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1962, where she attended Sacred Heart Catholic School, Immaculate Heart Academy, and Amphitheater High School. While at Amphitheater, she met and eventually married her high school sweetheart and best friend, Ron. Moving to Mesa in 1978, Sheila worked for and eventually retired from the Mesa Public School System. After several years of retirement, she missed being involved with the kids and became a teachers aid in the Special Education Department at Mesa High School. She also unselfishly gave countless hours of her time to help the homeless and destitute. We will miss her, and never forget her, in part because she was the most unbelievable Boston Red Sox and University of Arizona fan the world will ever know. Sheila is survived by her husband Ron, children Anne and John, and grandchildren Garrett, Ashlee, Faith, Hunter and Dakotah. A viewing and rosary will be held on Monday September 17th at 6:00 P.M. at Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive in Chandler. The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday September 18th at 10:00 A.M., at St Timothy church, 1730 W. Guadalupe Road in Mesa. Bueler Mortuary handled the arrangements.
