Corinne V. (Swallow) DeLory, of Braintree, passed away on June 16, 2016, at the age of 88. Wife of the late Joseph T. DeLory Jr. Loving mother of Michael J. DeLory Sr. of FL, Paul J. DeLory Sr. and his wife Jean of East Bridgewater, Mark J. DeLory Sr. and his wife Diane of Braintree and the late Susan M. Pellegrini. Mother-in-law of Geary Pellegrini of CT. Devoted sister-in-law of Howard E. Morse of Randolph. Preceded in death by daughter-in- law Laurie M. DeLory; and sisters, Joan Morse and Nancy Olson. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Born in Boston, she grew up in Randolph, and graduated from Stetson High School, class of 1946. She loved music and sang most of her life with her mother and sisters. Corinne sang in the church choir and weddings for friends. She was a communicant of the Randolph Baptist Church and, in later years, Chapel of Our Savior Brockton. She volunteered with the disabled and worked in mental health at Brockton Multiservice. She was a member of Stenkil Lodge #92 and the Viking Club of Braintree. Corinnes greatest joy was her family and friends. Mark and Paul wish to express to the John Scott staff their deepest gratitude for their love and care for Corinne, they were her second family. Reposing at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington St., Braintree MA 02184 until 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2016, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, So. Braintree Sq. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday, June 20, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
