He married Emma Louise Graham on Nov. 15, 1945, in Faribault, Minnesota. She died June 24, 1997.
He married Gladys Thomas on Feb. 16, 2005, in Champaign, Illinois. She survives.
Hr. Fancher graduated from Northwestern University in 1946.
He served in the Navy during World War II and was an electrician for the original Blue Angels, in 1946, and was a lifetime member of the Blue Angels.
He was a Mason, a member of the VFW and AMVETS.
He was employed as superintendent for Noble and Black Construction for 24 years.
He was survived by three sons, Leroy Fancher Jr., Michael Fancher and Bruce Fancher, two daughters, Barbara Jean Fancher and Debbie Hornsby, two brothers, Leland Fancher, Mendota and Joe Fancher, and four stepchildren, Bobby Thomas, Alexander Bishop, Darta Bishop and Alexis Bishop.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Rex Fancher and Warner Fancher.
