Frederick's date of death is unknown, but we do know that he died sometime after 13 October 1843 when he made and recorded a Bill of Sale for some notes, his farming equipment, his home, cattle, hogs & household items, selling it to Francis Dunn (his son-in-law). In that Bill of Sale, Francis Dunn owes Frederick $700 for those items mentioned in the Bill of Sale. The agreement goes on to say that Francis Dunn agrees to take care of Frederick until his death and if he fulfills this requirement, then the debt he owes Frederick will be "void" . No one knows how long Frederick Bolinger lived after this agreement was made, but it is believed he died in either late 1843 or 1844.

Frederick Bolinger is buried here on his homestead, beside his wife, Elizabeth "Betsy" WEAVER Bolinger. They are buried side by side and have a large natural stone crypt over their graves. The crypt originally had a huge flat one-piece rock covering the top, but not that rock is broken in several pieces. Frederick and Betsy were buried in the ground and this large crypt was built over the top of their graves.

Frederick Bolinger's Military Marker was placed by family members in the Witter Cemetery (which is located 1 1/2 miles south of this cemetery) because these relatives were concerned that the Military marker would be damaged here because cattle are free to roam in this Saint Peter's Cemetery. But Frederick's remains ARE buried here in this grave in the Saint Peter's Cemetery.

Frederick & Elizabeth "Betsy" WEAVER Bolinger married in 1789 in South Carolina; and were the parents of at least 17 children (some say they had 21 children with some passing away as infants).
