ABBOTT, William A. "Bill"- Peacefully, at the Meadows of Dorchester on Sunday, April 15 at the age of 76. Loving husband of Marian for 54 years.
Proud father of William and Linda Abbott, Grahame and Nicole Abbott and Colleen and Guy Celli. He was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by all of his grandchildren.
Dearly loved brother of Donald Abbott, Pauline (Lloyd) Maguire, Edythe Mugford and his sister-in-law Velma Abbott.
Also survived by many nieces, nephews and his trusted companion, Kelly.
Predeceased by his parents Murray and Verna Abbott, his brother Clayton, sister-in-law Audrey and brother-in-law James Mugford.
//Bill proudly served as Worshipful Master of Adoniram Lodge # 573, of which he was a member for over 50 years. He owned and operated Abbotts Hairstyling on Lundy's Lane for 45 years.
Bill, you are deeply loved and will be sadly missed more than words can say.
"Until we meet again, may the Lord hold you in the palm of His hand."
Bill is at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main Street where his family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 18 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A service under the auspices of the Masonic Lodge # 573 will be held at 7 pm. Private family service to be held at a later date. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of choice.
