She was born on Jan. 21, 1940, in New Paris, a daughter of the late Shelah (Nunamaker) Gordon.
On Sept. 3, 1959, in Winchester, Va., she married James “Tom” Pogue, who preceded her in death on June 17, 2011.
She is survived by a son, James “Tom” Pogue Jr. and wife Trovia of Beavercreek, Ohio; a daughter, Dianna Mann and husband Bobby of Riverside, Ohio; three grandchildren; David Mann of Fairborn, Ohio, James Nicholas Pogue Sr. and wife Rachel of Kettering, Ohio, and Holly Caroll, also of Kettering, Ohio; three great–grandchildren: James and Holton Caroll and James Nicholas Pogue Jr.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Faye Mort, and a brother, Zane Gordon.
Kaye was a member of the Alley United Methodist Church in Beavercreek, Ohio. She enjoyed sewing and quilting. Her biggest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
