PATRICIA J. “PAT” GAMBILL, 90, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 1:00 A.M. Saturday, September 26, 2020 in Freelandville Community Home in Freelandville, IN. She was born November 23, 1929 in Clay City, IN to Lester Duncan and Florence (Waggoner) Duncan.
Pat married Jackie W. “Jack” Gambill April 22, 1950, he passed away on August 14, 2011.
Survivors include her children, Scott Gambill (Reva) of Dugger, IN, Tim Gambill of Jasonville, IN, John Gambill (Leeann) of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Sara Turner, Josh Gambill (Kelly), Jacob Levy Gambill-Kline, Alexandria Harris (Josh); great-grandchildren, Jace Gambill, Peyton Gambil, Isaiah Harris, Wavorly Harris.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Lynn Turner 9-2002; granddaughter, Jessi Gambill 9-2008; sister, Martha Pipes; son in-law, Joe Turner; step-mother, Edith Duncan; step-sister, Helen Smith.
Pat graduated Jasonville High School Class of 1947. She worked at TRW, Formfit and last worked at Underwood. Pat attended and was a Lifetime Member of Lawton Street Christian Church, was a 50 year member of the Eastern Star and Pythian Sisters. She loved watching sitcoms such as Andy Griffith.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services are 1 P.M. Tuesday September 29, 2020 with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating.
Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
