Mayerscik, James John (Jim), 81, Johnstown, passed away peacefully September 13, 2020 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Jim was born March 6, 1939 to the late Emery and Emma (Knapp) Mayercsik. He was preceded in death by parents and son, James D. Mayerscik. Survived by loving wife of 57 years, Judith C. (Mauk) Mayerscik; daughter, Judith A. Pribulsky (Jeff), Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Cameron and Ryan Pribulsky; sister, Eleanor Williams, Johnstown; and niece, Denise Macy (Kevin), Johnstown. Jim worked in the Gautier Department of Bethlehem Steel for 32 years and as a real estate agent for Gold Key Realty for 15 years before retiring. Jim loved animals and enjoyed feeding and watching birds everyday rain or shine. He was very particular about his hair and kept it looking good even in his last days. Jim had many lifelong friends and loved talking to them on the phone. He was very proud of his family and will be greatly missed. He was a member of the Mason’s Lodge 858. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Cambria County in Jim’s name. Inurnment will be private at Jim’s request.
