He was a retired employee of the Norteman Meat Packing Co., Wheeling, a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Saxon Lodge, Lutheran Brotherhood, all at Martins Ferry and the AA.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary N. Williams Hutter; a brother, Michael T. Hutter.
Surviving are a son, William F. Hutter of Dublin; a daughter, Mary Gene Hutter Berletch of Martins Ferry; a sister, Mary Hutter Crooks of Martins Ferry Ferry; a granddaughter, Natalie Berletch and a grandson, Andrew Hutter.
