Doris Josephine Winslow, 73, Hays, died Saturday, Sept, 26, 2020, at Hays Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 3, 1946, in Antonino to Reinhold and Josephine (Kuhn) Herrman.

She married Jim Kohl. She later married Tom. She later married David Winslow on Sept. 26, 1998. He preceded her in death March 21, 2009.

Her favorite activity was to have friends and family over for dinner. She was an excellent cook and hosted countless parties filled with family, laughter, and double-deck-pinochle at her house, She enjoyed taking the boys camping at Wilson Lake, listening to her husband play his guitar and recite the poetry he wrote and watching the boys play sports in school.

Survivors include three sons, Dan Kohl and wife, Tina, Schoenchen, Rick Kohl and wife, Kelly, Moundridge, Kan., and Scott Kohl, St. George; two brothers, Les Herrman, Hays and Leon Herrman, Colorado Springs; two sisters, Carol Danielson and Linda Mayberry, both of Great Bend; and four grandchildren, Russ, Faith, Trevor and Collin Kohl.

She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Elmer, Cyril, Frank, Roy, Donny and J.R. Herrman; and a sister, Edna Rohr.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Oct. 1, 2020 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Hays; burial in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Antonino. Memorials are suggested to the Good Samaritan Society, Hays.
