Howard Arthur Becker, 78, Union, passed away Friday, July 4, 2008. Mr. Becker was born September 17, 1929, in South Point, the son of Edward F. and Salena, nee Hollmann, Becker.

Mr. Becker served his country in the U.S. Army from 1951-1953 during the Korean Conflict.

On Dec. 11, 1954, he was united in marriage to Hettie Carroll in Belleville, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Perry, Dennis, Owen, and Homer Becker, and one sister , Hazel Bair. He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Louise (Roy) Maciejewski, Pacific, Laurie Becker and friend Darrell Chitwood, Villa Ridge, and Lanett (Randy) Gortney, Union; four sisters, Opal Pollock, Owensville, Gladys Sutton, Bakersfield, CA, Audrey (Vernon) Wallner, Beaufort, and Joyce Rose, Gerald; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; other relatives and many friends.
