Patricia Hazard Powers Frech, 87, died April 24, 2013, at her home. She was born in Long Branch, N.J., and lived in Vero Beach for two years, coming from New York City. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Vero Beach. Survivors include her daughters, Linda Taft of Greensboro, N.C., Helen Kippax of Larchmont, N.Y., and Tica Young of Vero Beach; sister, Margarete Ambrosius of Vero Beach; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hans A. Frech. Services: Private services will be conducted in New York. Arrangements are by Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.
