LISBON, LA - Services for Benjamin H. Hancock, 80, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Rocky Springs Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Rusty Gilbert, assisted by Rev. Herbert Whitten. Interment will be at Rocky Springs Cemetery in Lisbon. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Hancock died on Saturday, March 31, 2001.
Mr. Hancock was a retired operator for Amoco Oil Co. with 36 years of service and a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Johnnie Tippett Hancock; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Wanda Hancock of Baltimore, MD and David and Melanie Hancock of Colorado Springs, CO; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
