Emma Jane Oskins Brown was the daughter of William J. and Rebecca Phillips Oskins. She married Charles Brown son George W. Jan.31,1900 in Gentryville, Spencer Co., IN. Besides the husband she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Edith Brown Waddle of New Albany, Mrs. Elsie Brown Hawkins of Bloomington and Mrs. Frances Hamilton of R.R. 2 Bedford, IN. Four Sons Arthur & Noel Of Bedford and George and Thomas Brown both of Williams. Two brothers William Thomas & James Oskins of Gentryville, and a sister Addie Willer Rockport IN. A grandaughter Miss Maxine Brown who was reared by Emma & Charles. One son Carol preceded her in death.
