Glen Odell Stout

Glen Odell Stout, was born October 19, 1928 in Taloga, Oklahoma. He passed away at home on September 24, 2020 at the age of 91. He was the third son of five boys born to Forest and Irene Stout.

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1946 to 1949 and the Navy reserves in 1950 at the start of the Korean War. In the Navy he went to Electronics School where he became a Radar Engineer and Senior Project Engineer. He attended USC and was recognized with a BSEE at Hughes Aircraft. He worked for Hughes Aircraft from 1952-1992 and for Ratheon until 2001. His love for a challenge led him to many adventrures.

He got his private pilots license, built a gyrocopter, was a marathon runner, climbed Mr. McKinkey, and he loved to swim, camp, and go RVing. He was a great Patriot to his country, raced jalopys, and owned a Model A. He was a sky diver and an ancestry enthusiast, and once flew supersonic on a test flight in an F-15. He was a gentleman to all he met.

He is predeceased by immediate family members his wife, Nina of 50 years, his oldest daughter, Debby and his granddaughter Emily.

He is survived by his wife, Norma, of 18 years, his daughters Tish (Bob) and Cheri (Bill), his 6 grandchildren Josh, Sean, Nate, Sierra, Katy, and Morgan and eleven great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, John, his son-in-law Jon Brones, Norma’s daughters Laura and Pat, and numerous nieces and nephews.
