HOVIS, BILL-On last Wednesday night death came and took one of our highly respected farmers, Bill Hovis, from us. He had been sick only six days, but his death was not unexpected. He leaves a wife and five children.

Bill died from injuries he received when a load of logs came loose from a wagon and fell on him. As noted in obituary, he managed to live for six days, but his death was not unexpected.
