He died at 4:40 a.m. Wednesday, October 22, 1986 in a Beckley, West Virginia hospital after a long illness.
He was a disabled welder and a military veteran serving in Korea.
Survivors, his wife, Karla [Withrow] Lilly; two daughters, Teresa Rose Lilly and Amber Leigh Lilly; son, Glen Neal Lilly II; two brothers, Gilbert and Randy Lilly; and a sister, Beulah Moye.
Funeral service at 2:30 p.m. Friday, October 24, 1986 at Rose & Quesenberry Peace Chapel, at Beckley with Pastor Oscar Schwiterlette officiating. Burial in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, West Virginia.
