Frances E. Crouch, 98, of Lexa, Arkansas died Sunday, July 1, 2007 at Helena-West Helena, Arkansas. She was born April 17, 1909 at Lexa, Arkansas to Frank and Mary Bonner Holland.
Mrs. Crouch retired as the Postmaster at Lexa, Arkansas after 37 years of service. She was the oldest living member of the Lexa United Methodist Church and served her church in many capacities until she entered the Crestpark Retirement Inn.
She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Parish of Jackson, Tennessee, Marilyn Frensley of Lexa, and Jacquelyn (Jon) Hassell of Fayetteville, Arkansas; three sons, David Crouch (Blanche) of Searcy, Arkansas, Stephen Crouch (Mary) of Hope, Arkansas, and Eugene (Sue) of Cabot, Arkansas. She is survived by 19 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, five great, great grandchildren, and her sister-in-law, Dell Holland of Wynne, Arkansas.
Mrs. Crouch was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Oscar Crouch; a foster son, James B. Smith; a grandson, Andrew Crouch; a sister, Beulah Roberson; a brother, J.P. Holland.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 4, at 2 p.m. at the Lexa Baptist Church. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 3, from 5-7 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Burial at Sunset Memorial Park, West Helena, Arkansas.
