George W. Truscott 83 of Central Lake, died suddenly October 3, 2020 at home. He was born September 3, 1937 in Detroit, the son of George and Ellen (Wilson) Truscott.

George proudly served in the US Marine Corps. He worked for Fischer Body Tech Center in Metro Detroit and retired from the Antrim County Road Commission after many years of dedicated service. George was extremely hard working and enjoyed working outside in his yard. He especially liked cutting his grass and snow blowing his drive way.

He enjoyed visiting the Upper Peninsula and watching the freighter ships going through the Soo Locks. He checked the webcam daily too . He also enjoyed driving his family around Antrim County on the 2 tracks and back roads to experience some of the beauty this County had to offer.

Surviving are his children Gwen McKay of Central Lake, Stephanie (Curtis) Johnson of Apopka, FL, William (Tiffany) Truscott of Central Lake, grandchildren Annie Harris, Cody Truscott, Brock Gilligan and Idella Johnson, sister-in-law Janice Truscott, nephew Tom and nieces Lori and Cindy. Preceding him in death was his wife Diana, his parents, and brother Bruce Truscott.

Private burial will take place in Southern Cemetery, Central Lake, MI.
